BANKATA 1925 · COMMUNITY
PEOPLE
LIKE US.
For people who do not wait for an environment to appear. They create it.
THE IDEA
THE BUILDING IS THE PLACE.
THE PEOPLE ARE THE COMMUNITY.
Bankata 1925 was created as a place for events. Yet every truly living place gradually gathers its own people — those who bring ideas, create culture and look for others with whom to share it.
People Like Us is our way of bringing them together: artists, musicians, authors, photographers, organisers and people who see the world differently. Not simply a list of names, but a community of faces, stories, work and opportunities for genuine collaboration.
#Varna editionFrom people who are already creating here — sometimes on a stage, sometimes in a studio and sometimes still beyond the public eye. We want to give them a place to be seen.
OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS
ART LIVES
AMONG PEOPLE.
Bankata 1925 is opening its walls to painters, photographers, illustrators and visual artists from Varna and the surrounding region.
We offer free exhibition space for original work. The works remain for an agreed exhibition period, meeting audiences during talks, concerts, workshops and other events at the venue.
The full open call, poster and single application form are now on People Like Us, in Bulgarian. Applications are reviewed by the Bankata 1925 team. A PLU community profile is optional.
